Futsal: Domagnano win the late fixture of Matchday 5
Domagnano rediscover the victory they had been missing since the opening day and draw level with Tre Penne on 6 points. Libertas, meanwhile, remain stuck on zero after four games (plus a rest round). The late fixture at the Palestra di Acquaviva opens up just after the quarter-hour mark, when Francesco Rossi’s shot, following a throw-in, squeezes in by Agostini’s left-hand post. Domagnano level within 5 minutes through a close-range touch from Davide Dolcini, and just two minutes later another successful tap-in, this time from Manuel Bollini, puts them in front. After the break the Wolves stretch their lead thanks to a brace from Emmanuele Capone. In between, Agostini brings down Alan Bacciocchi in the area, but from the spot Bacciocchi is denied by the same Domagnano goalkeeper. Libertas nevertheless find a way to pull one back through Alex Stefanelli. In the closing stages both teams are in the bonus. And the 10-metre penalties pile up. Libertas have two attempts from the 10-metre mark, but neither Davide Rossi nor Alex Stefanelli manage to hit the target. Lorenzo Bollini, on the other hand, converts to make it 5-2 Domagnano. The scoring is completed by Davide Rossi’s 5-3, this time from a corner routine rather than a 10-metre shot: not enough, however, for the Granata to improve their league position.
