Referees: San Marino’s three FIFA assistant referees at the CAN C pre-season camp

Ernesto Cristiano, Laura Cordani and Gianmarco Ercolani took part last weekend in the pre-season camp of the National Serie C Referees Commission (CAN C) – held in Cascia, in the province of Perugia, to prepare for and plan the 2026-27 sporting season. San Marino’s FIFA assistant referees underwent tests and classroom sessions alongside their Italian counterparts. Joining them in Cascia was also Christian Brighi – Advisor to the FSGC President on refereeing matters and member of the CAN C Commission, as well as deputy appointments officer to Nicola Giovanni Ayroldi. It was a major opportunity for Cristiano, Cordani and Ercolani, one that a physical issue unfortunately prevented Michele Beltrano – San Marino’s international referee – from being able to seize.
