Match officials: traditional pre-season training camp held on Friday and Saturday

The refereeing sector is also gearing up ahead of the start of the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301. On Friday and Saturday, ASA members gathered at the San Marino Stadium for the traditional pre-season training camp, alternating educational sessions with fitness and theoretical tests, as well as lighter, recreational moments to recharge the batteries between one session and the next. Proceedings were opened with the distribution of the new Macron-branded technical kit and with the traditional address from FSGC President Marco Tura, who, as in previous years, did not want to miss this important event dedicated to preparing for the new competitive season. Next to him at the desk was Secretary General Luigi Zafferani. The camp was also an opportunity to introduce to the group the new members of the "team", namely the new refereeing associates, and to offer a series of in-depth sessions and updates, such as the one on UEFA’s new guidelines and others on standard procedures: from the protocol for Observers, to briefing methods, to consistency in decision-making, through to the correct completion of post-match referees’ reports. Between the two days of work, the final of the Supercoppa Sammarinese was played: an event that served as a practical learning moment for those at the camp, who were in the stands to watch the match and then, the following day in the classroom, fully focused on analysing every aspect from a refereeing perspective, with particular emphasis on the relationship between observer and referee. The Supercoppa also marked the official debut of the new Macron match kit. The programme concluded on Saturday afternoon following the presentation of the DAN and its objectives.
