ASCO 35: charity triangular tournament in memory of Enrico Bellofiore on Wednesday

The “Enrico Bellofiore” Trophy – now in its fourth edition – confirms the international dimension it gained last year. Lining up are the same three teams that battled for the title just under twelve months ago: the Associazione Sammarinese Calciatori Over 35 (ASCO 35), the Associazione Sammarinese Stampa Sportiva and Swiss Cottage Tuesday FC – a Saturday League side involved thanks to the direct participation of a former San Marino international who recently played for the club after moving to London for professional reasons.

The triangular tournament will be played at the “Ezio Conti” Stadium in Dogana on Wednesday 8 July, kicking off at 20:00, the time scheduled for the start of the opening match. ASCO 35 and the Associazione Sammarinese Stampa Sportiva will get the third edition under way, before Swiss Cottage Tuesday FC enters the fray to first face the team that loses the opening fixture (over the scheduled thirty minutes or on penalties).

As always, the triangular tournament promoted by the Associazione Sammarinese Stampa Sportiva is closely tied to a charitable initiative. As in the last edition, participants and spectators will be able to make a voluntary donation to the Associazione BattiCinque of San Marino, which for more than ten years has been committed to improving the quality of life of people with autism or neurodevelopmental disorders through support actions aimed at them and their families, as well as carers, educators and teachers.
