General Assembly: budgets unanimously approved, new article added to the Statutes

Last night, with first call at 20:30 and second call at 21:00, the Federal Assembly was convened in the Conference Room of the San Marino Stadium in Serravalle. In the presence of Valentina Mercolli (UEFA) and Marco Ferri (FIFA), Assembly members were called to vote on the approval of the 2025 financial statements and the 2026 draft budget. Both votes returned a unanimously positive outcome, thereby approving the two documents. Following the communications of President Marco Tura, who reported to the delegates on recent meetings with UEFA and FIFA officials (the latter currently marking the tenth anniversary of Gianni Infantino’s presidency), proceedings continued with the extraordinary session – convened to vote on amendments to the Statutes. On this occasion, the Assembly approved the inclusion of Article 12 bis in the Federal Statutes: the new provision incorporates the principles of Law no. 155 of 23 September 2025 concerning the prevention of gender-based violence and abuse of minors in sport. An updated version of the Federal Statutes will soon be published on the official FSGC website.
