League: Virtus and Murata with a perfect record

After their spectacular debut against Faetano, Giuseppe Angelini’s Murata also passes the test represented by Libertas with flying colours. The Granata slip to a second consecutive defeat, falling behind after just eight minutes due to an indirect free-kick that sent Raul Ura onto the scoresheet. The second goal comes from the penalty spot and bears the signature of Affonso, who also makes it 3-0 on 44 minutes after a fine move in tandem with Gega. Moments before half-time comes the first goal conceded by the Bianconeri this season: effectively an own goal by Gueye, uncertain in dealing with Zabre’s cross-shot. Despite an all-out attacking second half, Libertas fail to get back into contention on the scoreboard and, at the death, Murata completes the rout. Once again Cunha, who started on the bench, gets his name on the scoresheet. Two penalties, meanwhile, deliver the wins for Cailungo and Tre Fiori. The Rossoverdi edge Fiorentino by a single goal, despite having to cope with the sending-off of Simone Vittori on 37 minutes. In the final quarter of an hour Hafidi awards a spot-kick in favour of Iencinella’s side, who from twelve yards claim their first three points of the season. On target Mattia Urbinati. The same goes for Tre Fiori: win no. 1 for Andrea De Falco in his new role as head coach arrives seven minutes from time, when Cecconi beats De Angelis from the penalty spot. In the closing stages San Giovanni lose one of their best players: Nicola Sartini, guilty of a retaliatory foul, is sent off on 88 minutes. There are no goals, however, in the first of the two derbies of the weekend: the Serravalle clash, between Folgore and Cosmos, highlights the solid performances of both defences. The Gialloverdi show greater attacking intent, but Di Maio and his team-mates cannot find a way through – thus leaving top spot to the pair of Virtus and Murata, who can only be joined tomorrow by La Fiorita. And if Murata lead the table thanks to an impressive attacking output, Bizzotto’s Virtus once again last night made do with a single goal from Ivan Buonocunto – his second in as many matches in the 2023-24 Campionato Sammarinese BKN301. After his last-gasp winner against Tre Fiori, the black-and-green playmaker struck this time at the start of the game, converting a penalty won by Loris Tortori. As always, all of this weekend’s league fixtures will be available live, and free of charge, on Titani.TV. Here is the schedule, complete with referee appointments:
