Coppa Titano, all decided in one night: semi-finalists restart from first-leg stalemate
The Coppa Titano is about to decide the two teams that will reach the final of the 68th edition of the oldest trophy in San Marino football. On one side of the draw are two clubs also battling for the league title: Tre Fiori and Virtus will face off on the Acquaviva artificial pitch tomorrow, with kick-off at 20:45. On one side of the pitch stands the dominant force of the last three seasons, on the other the leading contender to chip away at the neroverde hegemony which in 2025 has brought every piece of silverware in San Marino football into the Acquaviva club’s trophy cabinet. Virtus under Bizzotto have reached the final in each of the last three seasons, lifting the cup in 2023 and 2025. Just under a year ago, Tortori’s goal gave them victory over Tre Fiori themselves, who now dream of revenge with interest – having claimed top spot in the league outright thanks to last Saturday’s emphatic win in the head‑to‑head clash (4-1, with braces from Sirri and Prandelli). Simone Benincasa will miss out, as he serves the second and final match of his suspension following the red card received in the San Marino Supercup – also played against Tre Fiori in December. There are no suspensions in the Gialloblù ranks, although Braschi, Mema, Rea and Terenzi all walk a disciplinary tightrope on a yellow‑card warning – as do Amati and Rinaldi for the neroverdi. Yet another decisive showdown between Girolomoni’s and Bizzotto’s sides, major protagonists of this season, will be broadcast both on Titani.tv and on FIFA+.
The second semi-final, meanwhile, will be available exclusively on the San Marino FA’s OTT and web streaming platform. At the Ezio Conti Stadium in Dogana, La Fiorita and Juvenes Dogana will be chasing a place in the final from 20:45 tomorrow. The Serravalle club can boast nine titles in its palmarès, although only two of those have come since the merger of the two clubs of the same name in 2000. On the opposite bench, Ceci is hunting his first trophy since taking charge of the Montegiardino side. No fewer than eleven players, almost evenly split between the two squads, risk missing the final should they receive a booking tomorrow night. For both Juvenes Dogana and La Fiorita, winning the Coppa Titano would also provide a concrete route into next season’s UEFA Conference League. The alternative path, via the league play-offs, looks considerably more arduous, with opponents such as Folgore, Cosmos, Fiorentino and two from Virtus, Tre Fiori and Tre Penne in the mix.
It is worth recalling that, should there still be a deadlock at the end of normal time tomorrow (both first legs finished 0-0), the matches will go to extra time. If the extra-time periods also fail to produce a winner, penalty shoot-outs will be required to settle the ties at the semi-final stage of the 68th Coppa Titano.
This is the fixture list for the second legs of the 2025-26 Coppa Titano semi-finals:
