European Cups: dates and kick-off times set for Sammarinese clubs

The start of the European cups for Sammarinese clubs is about two weeks away. In recent days the dates and kick-off times have been confirmed for the matches involving Tre Fiori, La Fiorita and Virtus.

The champions of San Marino, taking part in the first qualifying round of the Champions League, will take to the pitch on Tuesday 7 July at 20:30 at the San Marino Stadium against Northern Irish side Larne, while the second leg is scheduled for the following week – Tuesday 14 at 20:00 local time, 21:00 in San Marino – across the Channel. Should they progress, Tre Fiori will face Red Star Belgrade; if they are eliminated, they will drop into the UEFA Europa Conference League, entering at the third qualifying round (draw scheduled for 20 July), with the ties to be played on 6 and 13 August.

La Fiorita and Virtus, meanwhile, will start from the first qualifying round of the Conference League. The Gialloblù from Montegiardino will play the first leg away on Tuesday 7 July at 19:15 in Luxembourg against UNA Strassen, while the home leg is set for Tuesday 14 at 21:00 at the Stadium. Virtus also begin away from home, travelling to Georgia to face Dila Gori on Thursday 9 July at 20:00 local time (18:00 in San Marino), with the return at the Stadium scheduled for Thursday 16 July at 21:00.

If they advance, La Fiorita will meet Serbian side Partizan Belgrade, while Virtus would take on Cypriot outfit Apollon Limassol. The second qualifying round matches are scheduled for 23 and 30 July.
