European Cups: San Marino clubs received in audience by the Captains Regent

As per tradition, and just a few days before their first matches, the San Marino clubs involved in the European Cups were today received in Audience by Their Excellencies the Captains Regent, H.E. Alice Mina and H.E. Vladimiro Selva. With renovation work ongoing at Palazzo Pubblico, the delegations of Tre Fiori, La Fiorita, Virtus and Murata Futsal gathered in the Throne Room of Palazzo Valloni.

The audience opened with an address by Hon. Rossano Fabbri, Secretary of State with responsibility for Sport, followed by remarks from FSGC President Marco Tura. Also present at Palazzo Valloni were the Secretary General of the Football Federation, Luigi Zafferani, and the President of the San Marino National Olympic Committee, Christian Forcellini. At the end of the meeting, as usual, the club delegations – made up of players, coaches and officials – presented the Captains Regent with gifts and personalised shirts.

Tre Fiori and La Fiorita – competing in the Champions League and Conference League respectively – will make their debut in the competitions on the evening of Tuesday 7 July, while Virtus will take to the field on 9 July, also in the Conference League. Murata, meanwhile, will learn their opponents in the Futsal Champions League draw on 8 July, before taking to the court at the end of August.
