Tomorrow Finland-San Marino: sell-out expected at Helsinki Olympic Stadium

On the eve of Finland-San Marino, scheduled for tomorrow evening at 19:00 local time (18:00 in Italy) at a sold-out Helsinki Olympic Stadium, where thirty thousand spectators are expected, the National Team Head Coach Fabrizio Costantini looks to build on what was done last Friday against Kazakhstan at the "Tardini" in Parma in EURO 2024 qualifying. "We put in a great performance, perhaps our best of the year. I was less happy with the result. Tomorrow – commented the Titani coach – we will face a top side like Finland: they have great quality and are among the favourites to qualify from the group". Even though a capacity crowd is expected at the stadium that hosted the 1952 Olympics – and which is also the home ground of the Finnish national team – midfielder Michael Battistini, who joined coach Costantini at the press conference, is not worried by the large audience: "We are ready to play this kind of match. We have been waiting for these moments for months. We are working well, game after game. Tomorrow we will need to add that little bit extra to grow even more". A Finnish journalist then asked the coach and the Biancazzurri player what their football dream is. "A year ago we started a journey – said Costantini – that must first lead us to positive performances. From that, you can achieve an important result. In this qualifying campaign it will be very tough because it is a complicated group in which all the teams can qualify. In the future we also want to be competitive in the Nations League. I believe that by working well and having time on our side, we can achieve something significant". "Personally, I think that scoring a goal – said Battistini about his dream – would be a great joy. Winning is always our dream and that is what we aim for. The result is what drives us every time to give our all". The fourth match in Group H of this EURO 2024 qualifying campaign will be broadcast live on television by San Marino RTV SPORT and with live radio commentary on Titani.tv from 17:50 (kick-off at 18:00 Italian time).
