eEURO 2026: Davide Casadei in Europe’s Top 25

Outstanding result for Davide Casadei, San Marino’s representative at the UEFA eEURO 2026 by EA Sports, the continental competition dedicated to the EA SPORTS FC video game, successor to the FIFA series.

The San Marino gamer finished the tournament in Europe’s Top 25, out of 45 participating nations, with a record of two wins, against Malta and Lithuania, and three defeats, against Sweden, Greece and Italy. A significant achievement that represents the best result ever recorded by San Marino eSports.

The competition was played over two days: the first using a Swiss format, in which subsequent pairings are determined based on the results of the opening match, itself established by each player’s global ranking, and the second day using a double-elimination bracket. Casadei took part in the tournament using the Ultimate Team mode, with squads built through the accounts provided by EA Sports and in full compliance with the restrictions laid down in the regulations.
