Women’s football: Under-16 National Team to face Romania U15 in double friendly

Following the excitement of the UEFA Development Tournament played last April, another step on the journey of the experimental Women’s Under-16 National Team is on the horizon: a double friendly against Romania’s Under-15 national side. For several weeks now, head coach Giacomo Piva has been working with an extended squad in preparation for these two important fixtures, unofficial in status but nonetheless extremely valuable for assessing the progress of the first women’s national team in the history of the Titano, a few months on from the matches that marked its debut in UEFA competition. Just like that Development Tournament, this double test against Romania’s Under-15s will also be played on home soil. It kicks off on Sunday 23 June and concludes on Tuesday 25 June, at 17:00 and 18:00 respectively. Both games will be played on the pitch in Acquaviva and will be broadcast live, with commentary and free of charge, on the Titani.TV platform.
