Futsal: new season kicks off with Championship and Futsal Cup draw

The roadmap for the new San Marino futsal season has been revealed. This afternoon at the Casa del Calcio in Montecchio, FSGC General Secretary Luigi Zafferani conducted the draw for the fixtures of the Campionato Sammarinese di futsal and the Titano Futsal Cup. As for the league, the dates to mark for the opening matchday are 3 and 6 October. There is an immediate heavyweight clash between Tre Fiori and La Fiorita, while reigning champions Folgore will face Cosmos and Fiorentino will take on Cailungo. The first matchday is completed by Tre Penne-Domagnano, Libertas-Virtus, Pennarossa-Faetano and Murata-San Giovanni (Juvenes-Dogana have a bye). The bracket for the national cup has also been set, with the round of 16 first legs scheduled for 13-14 October (second legs planned for 3-4 November). Folgore will enter the competition at the quarter-final stage as holders of the trophy won last season. The season will officially get under way next week with the first trophy on offer: the San Marino Futsal Super Cup, which will be awarded at the end of the final between Folgore and Tre Fiori, scheduled for Tuesday 27 September at 21:00 in Fiorentino.   ©FSGC | The Titano Futsal Cup bracket
