Futsal, league: positive evening for Tre Fiori and Virtus, rescheduled fixtures confirmed

It is now official: Matchday 15 of the San Marino Futsal Championship – the last round of the first half of the season – will be spread over four evenings. The dates have also been announced for the last three fixtures that were postponed due to the unplayability of some venues on the Titan: Libertas-Faetano and Cosmos-La Fiorita will be played on Thursday 26 January in Dogana; a week later, the schedule will be completed with Pennarossa-Domagnano, set for 21:15 on 2 February but still without a designated venue, which will be announced in the coming days. Meanwhile, in the first two games of the round – played last night in Dogana – there were wins for Tre Fiori and Virtus. Bugli’s Gialloblù had little trouble overcoming Cailungo: 3-0 at half-time, with Zanotti, Verri and Gasperoni on the scoresheet. The scoreline in the second half was identical: this time Casadei, Cappelli and again Verri found the net. Another defeat for Cailungo after the draw the previous week and another defeat also for San Giovanni, narrowly beaten by Virtus. For Pollini’s men it is a second consecutive 1-0 win: this time it is Sensoli who decides it, although he is later sent off for a second yellow in the closing stages. Thanks to this victory, Virtus temporarily move above La Fiorita and Juvenes-Dogana, while waiting for those two sides to play their respective matches. The biancorossoazzurri are in action this evening against Fiorentino, one of the two joint leaders. The other, also this evening, will take on Tre Penne.
