Futsal Cup: first leg of the semi-finals this evening

Four teams remain in the hunt for the Titano Futsal Cup 2023-24. Whether it will once again be Fiorentino and Folgore contesting the final will be decided over the two-legged ties at the semi-final stage. This evening the first legs will be played, both on the Multieventi court. Fiorentino and La Fiorita will get the programme under way at 20:15. The reigning champions, who were therefore exempt from the first round, knocked out Domagnano in the quarter-finals. La Fiorita, after their victory over Tre Penne, then went on to eliminate Juvenes-Dogana. In the only meeting between the sides this season, Fiorentino ran out 4-1 winners and again go into tonight’s match as favourites. The same can be said for Folgore, although the gap to Tre Fiori seems even narrower. In fact, when they met in the league, the Falciano club only managed to secure the win right at the end. It was not until the 58th minute that Pasqualini struck the goal that sealed a 3-2 success. To reach the Titano Futsal Cup semi-finals, Folgore eliminated Cosmos and Libertas, while Tre Fiori got the better of Faetano and Murata.
