Under-19 Futsal EURO, Gibraltar defeat Matteo Selva’s Titans
The preliminary round of qualifying for the Under-19 Futsal EURO begins with a defeat for San Marino, who are in action in Gibraltar. The young Biancazzurri coached by Matteo Selva were beaten 5-0 by their peers and hosts from Gibraltar.
Gibraltar started strongly and after just a few minutes went ahead through Glynn. Bosio’s side doubled their lead after 10 minutes with Coltan, before Perera made it three. The first half thus ended 3-0. After the break, Gibraltar scored twice more through Caetano and Zammitt. Immediately after the 5-0 goal (29'), the first yellow card was shown to Ercolani, who was then sent off shortly afterwards for a second booking (33' 50'').
San Marino will be back on court this evening at 19:00 against Montenegro for their second match in Group B.
