Futsal: the title race will resume on 2 October

The futsal season will officially kick off in the last week of September, when Fiorentino and Folgore face off for the San Marino Super Cup. In addition to the prestigious trophy, the winners will also earn the distinction of being the only team to feature twice on the roll of honour, which currently lists four different clubs for the four editions played from 2017 to today (the Super Cup was not held in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic). While the exact date, venue and kick-off time of the clash between Folgore and Fiorentino – the latter having secured the double of League and Titano Futsal Cup a few months ago – are still to be confirmed, the day on which the title race will get underway is already known. The opening matchday of the 2023-24 Campionato Sammarinese di futsal will, in fact, be played on Monday 2 October 2023. The draw for the full league calendar, as well as for the Titano Futsal Cup bracket, will instead take place at the beginning of September (on a date still to be set). In those same days next month, preparations will also resume at facilities across the territory for the fifteen teams taking part in San Marino’s futsal competitions.
