Futsal: Juvenes-Dogana stumble against Faetano as Fiorentino and Folgore climb

Murata have little trouble securing an eighth win from nine and defending top spot in the group. The Bianconeri’s clash with Cailungo fully follows the script: 5-0, with Cesarini opening the scoring, followed by a Littera brace and further goals from Mattioli and Capicchioni. Pennarossa stay right on their heels, easing past Domagnano thanks to a Gasperoni double and Verri’s late strike. Virtus and La Fiorita also keep pace. The Neroverdi in particular needed to bounce back from a poor run of three straight defeats. They manage it with a 4-0 win over Tre Penne, Bernardi breaking the deadlock and then adding the third after Beinat had put through his own net for Acquaviva’s 2-0. Biordi adds the exclamation mark just past the midway point of the second half. La Fiorita extend their lead specifically over Tre Penne, making no mistake in their test against Libertas. The latter go ahead from the spot through Taddei, but are overturned before half-time by a Matteo Chezzi brace. His brother Simone quickly opens the second half with the 3-1, while Paesini further stretches the gap, which is reduced again when Taddei nets his second of the night – not enough, however, to change the course of the game. While Tre Penne see La Fiorita pull away, Domagnano – sitting not far from the Biancoazzurri – feel the dangerous approach of the Fiorentino–Folgore duo, both victorious on the night set aside for Matchday 9. The Giallorossoneri immediately bounce back from defeat to Pennarossa with a 3-0 win over Cosmos, who had arrived on the back of three straight league victories. Muccioli’s men succumb to goals from Bortolotto and Casali, which come after Molinas’ own goal. The only sour note for Zonzini is Ercolani’s dismissal, booked twice between the 49th and 50th minute. Fiorentino, meanwhile, manage to extend their positive streak. Galli’s side claim a third consecutive win in the derby with Tre Fiori, which ends 8-2. Tre Fiori’s Gialloblù strike first through Tamagnini, but Paoloni replies within four minutes. Paoloni again and a Casadei brace complete the 4-1 scoreline at the break. The second half is opened by Felici, who is then joined again on the scoresheet by Paoloni and Casadei (both completing hat-tricks), as well as Gasperoni. At 6-1 Tre Fiori try to get back into it through Giorgini, but to no avail. Faetano take advantage to edge a little closer to Pollini’s side, although the evening in Domagnano seemed to promise something even more spectacular for Corbelli’s men. At one stage Faetano were 2-0 up on Juvenes-Dogana and still leading 2-1 going into the second minute of added time, when Levani’s team, using the flying goalkeeper, manage to salvage their night – at least in part. In chronological order, Caruso puts Faetano ahead on 6 minutes, with Bacciocchi doubling the lead in the 13th minute of the second half. Zonzini halves the deficit 10 minutes from the 60; then, as mentioned, Juvenes-Dogana’s sustained attacking pressure finally pays off seconds from the final whistle, when Mularoni makes it 2-2.
