Futsal, the National Team returns to the court

A new training cycle for the San Marino national futsal team, fresh from the April campaign in Hamburg in the 2024 World Cup qualifiers. In Germany the victory the Titans were chasing did not arrive, especially against Gibraltar, and the Biancazzurri have gone back to working hard to be ready for their next international appointment. They are once again aiming for a sensational week like the one in Varna – where the national futsal team progressed to the next round, only to go out to Denmark in the UEFA European Championship play-offs. Head Coach Roberto Osimani has called up 23 players for a series of technical and athletic sessions, which began on 27 July and will continue until 25 August – with a break scheduled between 12 and 21 August. On all remaining Mondays and Wednesdays the Titans will be at the disposal of the coach from the Marche region at the Acquaviva sports hall, starting at 19:15. The fitness-focused work, entrusted to new fitness coach Fernando Maria Paccagnella, will begin tomorrow and will then take place every Thursday of the month, with the exception of 18 August. ©FSGC
