Futsal: National Team heads to Labin for the Futsal Week January Cup

Now an established annual fixture, the Futsal Week January Cup is ready to welcome the San Marino national futsal team. The Biancazzurri coached by Roberto Osimani, who will contest the Futsal World Cup Qualifiers in the first half of April, have set off in recent hours for Labin in Croatia. Tomorrow already, Busignani and his team-mates will be on court to face Switzerland from 18:15. The matches will be available live via free streaming on the tournament’s Facebook page, accessible here.

The game against the Swiss will come after a late-morning training session at the “Franko Mileta” arena, which will host all matches in the tournament. Two further matches await the Titans on Friday and Sunday. The identity of their opponents, as well as the kick-off times, will be determined by the results recorded on each matchday. These will then be used to compile the final standings of the eight participating teams. In addition to San Marino and Switzerland, the tournament line-up features Greenland, Malta, Morocco, Romania, Scotland and Turkey.
