Futsal: thrilling 3-3 between Cosmos and Juvenes Dogana

In the late fixture of matchday seven of the San Marino futsal championship, the only game played indoor, Cosmos and Juvenes-Dogana faced off in the Serravalle castle derby. Levani’s side had to do without their prolific striker Cavalli, sent off in the previous match. The encounter ended in a spectacular 3-3 draw, with each side winning a half 2-1. The Gialloverdi took the lead in the 5th minute through Bacciocchi, but Levani’s men hit back on 20 minutes when goalkeeper Elia Cecchetti found the net. Cosmos then moved 3-1 ahead, thanks to a brace from Mauri, who scored in the 24th and 37th minutes. Juvenes-Dogana refused to give in and came back within 12 minutes thanks to two goals recorded by Muccioli in the 43rd and 49th minutes. It is an important draw for Muccioli’s players, who manage to get back on the board after a run of five consecutive defeats. On the other hand, it is a draw with regrets for the Biancorossazzurri, as it denies them the chance to leapfrog two places in the table at the expense of Virtus and Murata.
