Futsal: Tre Fiori tighten grip on third with win over Libertas

Tre Fiori strengthen their hold on third place with a 3-1 victory over Libertas in the late fixture at the Multieventi. Bugli’s men went in front after 6 minutes thanks to an own goal by Davide Rossi. Burioni levelled the score 7 minutes into the second half, but it didn’t take long for Cecchini to restore Tre Fiori’s lead, and the win was then wrapped up in the final 10 minutes by Cappelli. With this result the Gialloblù side move a further two points clear of their closest pursuers, La Fiorita (now 8 points behind), and also claw back two points on the team immediately above them, Folgore, who had been held to a draw the previous evening by La Fiorita. Further back, Libertas suffer a second consecutive defeat and now feel the pressure from behind of Murata and San Giovanni, who lie just one and two points adrift respectively.
