Futsal: Tre Penne hit double figures against Murata left without goalkeepers by injury

The late fixture in Dogana closed the tenth matchday of the San Marino Futsal Championship, ending in a comprehensive victory for Tre Penne in the derby against Murata. While the clear merits of Tre Penne must certainly be highlighted – you do not score that many goals in sixty minutes by chance – it is equally important to note that Murata are going through a dire spell with injuries, which worsened further last night. Of the seven players called up, including Lonfernini – listed mainly to be with the team – Marzi had to withdraw at the last moment after picking up an injury during the warm‑up. The Bianconeri took to the court with only five outfield players, with no goalkeeper and no substitutions from the very start, and midway through the second half they also had to cope with an injury to Albani – who was formally replaced in goal by Felici with the score at 6-0. Palermino’s men finished the match with four players, conceding a further four goals for a final score of 10-0. On the Tre Penne side, there were hat-tricks from Toccaceli and Dinatale, a brace from Raschi, a goal from Contato and an own goal by Capicchioni – making it 0-3 in the 19th minute. This victory lifts Tre Penne into eighth place on 12 points. They move above Pennarossa and Faetano, the latter having played one game more. Yesterday’s win was the fourth in the last five outings for the Biancazzurri from Città. This was the schedule for Matchday 10 of the championship:
