Clubs taking part in UEFA competitions received in Audience by the Captains Regent

Borrowing the words of the Secretary of State for Sport, Teodoro Lonfernini, today’s gathering in the Council Chamber at Palazzo Pubblico was "a welcome tradition, in which the San Marino institutions recognise the efforts and achievements of the football clubs of the Republic of San Marino, who will be called upon to represent our country on the stages of the most prestigious European competitions". In the presence of Their Excellencies the Captains Regent H.E. Oscar Mina and H.E. Paolo Rondelli, introduced by the Honourable Lonfernini and welcomed by the opening address of FSGC President Marco Tura, La Fiorita, Tre Penne, Tre Fiori and Folgore Futsal were received in audience by the Supreme Magistracy ahead of their respective commitments in the Champions League, Europa Conference League and Futsal Champions League. "To all of you we wish to express our appreciation for the results you have achieved within San Marino football, which will give you the opportunity to test yourselves in the main European tournaments. We are certain that you will rise to these challenges with great determination and resolve, with the aim of representing your country in the best possible way. A country – continued the Captains Regent – that follows you closely, confident that you will stand out for your fairness and ability, as has in fact been the case for San Marino, for many years now, in fields not limited to sport alone". On the occasion of the official audience with the Captains Regent, the San Marino Football Federation took the opportunity to present and offer to Their Excellencies the new National Team kit – recently unveiled by Erreà, the new technical sponsor of the Titani. "The traditional colours of our national flag have been retained: sky blue and white for the first and second shirts respectively – commented President Marco Tura –, complemented by a third option in dark blue. The shirt design features references to the history and culture of San Marino, such as the stylised National Team logo, which prominently includes – among other elements – the Three Towers of San Marino, as well as the iconic motifs of Palazzo Pubblico, which can be seen on the very walls of the Council Chamber of the Grand and General Council". Their Excellencies the Captains Regent H.E. Oscar Mina and H.E. Paolo Rondelli, as well as the Secretary for Sport Lonfernini and CONS President Gian Primo Giardi, were presented by the Football Federation and the clubs involved with a memento of this emotional occasion, fully aware of the honour and responsibility of representing the Republic of San Marino at the highest level of European football competitions.
