FSGC mourns the passing of Carlo Tavecchio

The FSGC joins the FIGC and all of Italian football in mourning the passing of Carlo Tavecchio, President of the Italian Football Federation from 2014 to 2018. It was in his role as FIGC President that, in September 2014, he attended the inauguration ceremony of the San Marino Stadium following its refurbishment, which included the construction of the multi-service tower. As the FIGC itself recalled in a statement through the words of President Gravina, Carlo Tavecchio was an innovator within Italian football and a friend of San Marino football, with which he always maintained close and fruitful relations. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go in particular to his family and to all those who held him dear.
