FSGC launches its own OTT platform: TITANI.TV to debut with San Marino–Cape Verde

The San Marino Football Federation is preparing to take a new and significant step towards an increasingly advanced and innovative service for fans of Sammarinese football. Next Monday, 28 March 2022, will in fact see the debut of TITANI.TV, the San Marino Football Federation’s OTT platform, which will host a wide range of Sammarinese football content – both live and on demand. The symbol of San Marino’s sporting identity becomes the new reference point for Sammarinese football: www.titani.tv, easy to type and immediate to remember. The date of 28 March is anything but random: on that day, the National Team coached by Fabrizio Costantini will be in Murcia to face Cape Verde. It will be a first-ever meeting with a non-European side in an official fixture, and it will also mark the launch of TITANI.TV. The live broadcast of the match from the Pinatar Arena, for viewers in Italy and San Marino, will be available on the San Marino Football Federation’s OTT platform, with Italian commentary. To follow the game, fans will simply need to register on the channel and can then comfortably watch on their smart TV, tablet or smartphone as the team takes on the Blue Sharks – who recently reached the Round of 16 at the 2022 Africa Cup of Nations. Helping to develop the platform, which will soon also carry selected matches from the Campionato Sammarinese, Coppa Titano, San Marino Academy and youth National Teams, is Swedish company Staylive – a specialist in the field. "Together with the Federazione Sammarinese Giuoco Calcio,” comments Staylive CEO Pontus Karsbo, “we seized the opportunity to develop a streaming platform that will make it possible to follow football in San Marino in innovative and user-friendly ways. It has been, and will continue to be, an inspiring collaboration, and we cannot wait to present TITANI.TV to viewers". "The new platform on which the San Marino Football Federation has decided to focus,” stresses FSGC General Secretary Luigi Zafferani, “is just the latest piece in the broad and far-reaching project of innovation and digitalisation of the services we provide to Sammarinese football fans. Further developments will soon be announced, which will not only bring our football into everyone’s homes, but literally into the palm of their hand – on any smart device". In short, the best is yet to come. And we will soon have a first taste, with the date already set for 28 March for San Marino–Cape Verde.
