FSGC launches two engaging initiatives in the build-up to San Marino v Denmark

The FSGC is putting together a series of unmissable initiatives around the 17 October fixture between the national teams of San Marino and Denmark. The build-up to kick-off will be aimed especially at the fans, both those travelling from Scandinavia and the local supporters. On Matchday-1, namely Monday 16 October at 21:00, the two groups of fans will face each other in a friendly match to be played on the Montecchio pitch. The "selections" will be limited in number. The list of 20 players for the San Marino supporters’ team will be drawn up on the basis of applications sent to [email protected]. In the same email, applicants must also state their size so that match kits can be allocated. These kits may also be purchased by the selected players at the special price of €40. All proceeds from these sales will be donated in full to charitable projects. If more than twenty applications are received, priority will be given to those who purchase the kit and therefore contribute to the charity initiative. On matchday, that is Tuesday 17 October, a fan village split into two areas will be set up in the car park of the Multieventi Sport Domus: on one side there will be the Danish fans’ "beer festival", organised by the travelling supporters with direct support from the FSGC in terms of logistics and security; on the other side there will be stalls, gazebos and mini-pitches run by the FSGC together with MIamo by Sitaly & LSC, to create shared experiences and entertainment focused on the theme of environmental sustainability. Several of the topics from the FSGC’s 2030 Social Responsibility Strategy will be addressed: the medium for raising awareness will not be lectures or video/slide shows, but pure fun. Simple, yes, but powerful.
