FSGC mourns the passing of Giancarlo Mularoni
The FSGC has learned with immense sorrow of the passing of Giancarlo Mularoni, who died yesterday at the age of 77. A reserved yet always very active figure, Giancarlo held numerous roles within Sammarinese football, spanning different eras and consistently making valuable contributions – and in more than one area. He was first a player, then a club official, particularly with Murata. His curriculum within the ranks of the FSGC was also long and rich. He served as team manager and staff member of the San Marino National Team, as well as a member of the General Assembly of the Football Federation. For many years, he was also a key figure in the organisation of technical coaching courses – in both football and futsal. With his ever-present smile, his quiet, gentle presence and his constant readiness to help, he accompanied the journey of dozens and dozens of aspiring coaches who, today, can only remember him with great affection. This feeling is shared by the Football Federation, along with deep gratitude for all he did to foster the growth of Sammarinese football. We all join his family in their grief and extend our most heartfelt condolences.
