FSGC at Luiss: Nardoni guest of the prestigious school
The San Marino Football Federation was also represented – in the person of Administrative Coordinator Andrea Nardoni – at the university lecture held on 11 April at Villa Blanc (Rome), one of the sites of the Luiss Business School. Invited as a guest of the Master’s programme in Media and Entertainment – Major in Sport Management, Nardoni outlined to the students the strategies and innovations implemented by the FSGC in recent times, with a focus on how Sammarinese football responded to the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic. During the talk, which ranged across various topics and sub-topics concerning football in the Titan, linked to the unique characteristics, history and traditions of the world’s oldest Republic, Nardoni spoke about the recently launched OTT platform project of the Federation, all the initiatives connected to the celebration of the 90th anniversary, and more generally about the following awareness that has grown within the Federation: the ability to be constantly innovative is a key requirement not only in times of exceptional crisis, such as a pandemic, but always and in any case in today’s hyper-competitive and hyper-globalised world. In short, to stay with the academic theme, exams never end for those who are determined to keep pace with the times. During and after the lecture, Nardoni was met with the genuine enthusiasm of the students, who were particularly intrigued by the OTT platform project, which could in the future open up educational and experiential opportunities for university students like themselves.
