UEFA in San Marino for Coach Educator course
UEFA in San Marino for Coach Educator course
The San Marino Football Federation continues its commitment to coach education, running the Coach Educator course with the support of UEFA. In recent days, the second module has been completed, focused on practical activities both in the classroom and on the pitch.
Over the three days, the 10 participants followed a varied programme that alternated theory sessions with on‑pitch demonstrations. The trainees delivered individual presentations, led simulated lessons and managed practical drills, carried out with the valuable support of the grassroots youth sectors and the San Marino Academy, who actively contributed to the success of the activities. Ensuring the smooth running of the course was Genadie Scurtul, UEFA Coach Educator Developer and FSGC mentor for coach education, alongside the Head of the Coach Education Department Carlo Chiarabini and experienced coach educator Fabio Lepri. The overall assessment of the module was extremely positive. The report highlighted the high quality of the activities delivered and of the programmes proposed by the San Marino FA, encouraging the pursuit of increasingly ambitious targets.
The training pathway will continue over the coming months with the third and final module, during which the participants will be asked to engage with real-life experiences within the coaching courses organised by the FSGC. At the end of the entire pathway, the participants will obtain the official Coach Educator qualification and will thus be ready to play a key role within the San Marino football system, contributing to the education, support and development of today’s coaches and the next generations.
