National Team: Kazakhstan mission kicks off tomorrow

The San Marino National Team is expected tomorrow at the "Ennio Tardini" Stadium in Parma, the temporary venue for the meeting between the Titani and Kazakhstan due to the unavailability of the San Marino Stadium – currently undergoing work to renovate the playing surface, which will be returned to sporting use in the coming weeks. Last night the Titani trained under Fabrizio Costantini, who announced the list of twenty-three players called up for the match on Friday 16 June (live TV coverage on San Marino RTV Sport and live radio on TITANI.TV, from 20:35). The Head Coach of the San Marino National Team, who is approaching his thirteenth match in charge, will speak to the media tomorrow afternoon at 17:00. Half an hour later, the official training session of the Biancazzurri will get under way, open to the media for the first 15 minutes. The Kazakhstan training session will follow the same format and is scheduled for 19:00 tomorrow, after their press conference at 18:20. The two national teams have met only twice in the past, both in UEFA EURO 2020 qualifying, with Kazakhstan winning on both occasions. At the Astana Arena it finished 4-0, while at the San Marino Stadium it ended 3-1, featuring a strike from Filippo Berardi – his first goal for the National Team. After Friday evening’s fixture against Kazakhstan, the Titani will travel to Helsinki, which will host the second international match of this Week of Football. The game against Finland will be played on Monday 19 June, at 18:00.
