National team, second friendly against Saint Kitts & Nevis tomorrow

It is the eve of another match for the San Marino National Team which, after last Wednesday’s friendly against Saint Kitts and Nevis, will be back on the pitch tomorrow to face the Caribbean side again in a second international at the San Marino Stadium (kick-off at 20:45, live radio commentary on Titani.tv). “We’ll build on the good things we did on Wednesday,” said the Titani’s Head Coach Roberto Cevoli at the pre-match press conference, “and we are aware that we made avoidable mistakes that led to the defeat. Despite having had only a few training sessions together, we have already shown some positive signs. The boys are working well and are determined to keep improving.” After last Wednesday’s match – won 3-1 by the Sugar Boyz – Cevoli had another chance to analyse the Caribbean side: “Physically they have some very impressive players, while from a tactical standpoint we’ve identified areas where we can hurt them. Our aim for tomorrow night is to take another step forward. If we keep working well, the results will follow.” Sitting alongside the coach was defender Filippo Fabbri: “We’re disappointed with the result but not with the performance. We made mistakes on their goals and we are fully aware of that. We want to work as well as possible straight away to make sure it doesn’t happen again tomorrow. The group is in good shape and the new players have settled in well. We know we can do well tomorrow.” On Wednesday the National Team found the net – for the fourth consecutive match – through Filippo Berardi and, more importantly, went in front. An unusual situation for the Titani, but one that provides energy and confidence: “It’s a great feeling,” said Fabbri, “and it helps you a lot psychologically. Even after scoring we kept playing with the same mindset. As well as scoring, though, we need to be able to hold on to our lead.” Here is the list of the 23 players called up by Head Coach Roberto Cevoli for tomorrow’s match against Saint Kitts and Nevis:
