Regions’ Cup: NAT San Marino set to depart for Slovenia

NAT San Marino set off today for Slovenia, where they will be competing in the Intermediate Round of the 14th edition of the UEFA Regions’ Cup 2026-2027. The Titani will make their debut on Thursday 15 October at 15:30 against Ptuj, the team representing Slovenian amateur football. On Sunday 18 October at 15:00 they will then face Anenii Noi, the Moldovan representative side, while on Wednesday 21 October, again at 15:00, the Titani will conclude their group campaign against Serbian side Vojvodina (also met last year during the final tournament staged in the Republic).

All three matches will be played on Slovenian soil, the first two at the Mestni Stadion in Ptuj and the final game at the Stadion Hajdina.

Head coach Luigi Bizzotto, confirmed in his role last September, has named his official squad for the competition, selecting eighteen players in line with the tournament’s eligibility criteria. Only players with no professional experience and registered with the member association they represent for at least two full calendar years by the time of their first official match are allowed to take part in the UEFA Regions’ Cup.
