Regions’ Cup: San Marino NAT drawn with Serbia, Slovenia and Moldova
A new chapter of the UEFA Regions’ Cup opened this afternoon in Nyon (Switzerland). The draws for the 2026/27 edition were held at the UEFA headquarters. The procedure was conducted by Bjorn Vassallo, Chairman of the UEFA Youth and Amateur Football Committee, together with Karol Losin, captain of the Spanish side Aragon, who last summer lifted the trophy in the final against Poland played right here in San Marino at the Stadio di Acquaviva. Also released today was a documentary on the final tournament staged in San Marino, available to everyone on UEFA.tv (click here to watch the video).
The draw procedure provided for one team to be picked from each of the four pots, with San Marino NAT placed in Pot B (12th in the ranking, level with Italy). The draw then determined that the Biancazzurri side – coached by head coach Luigi Bizzotto – has been placed in Group 2 of the Intermediate Round together with Serbia, Slovenia and Moldova. The host venue for the mini-tournament and the match dates are still to be decided.
