Social responsibility: FSGC and Academy U22 together with Cooperativa InVolo

A new partnership has been launched between San Marino Academy Under 22 and Cooperativa InVolo. The initiative began with the start of the new season and fits perfectly within the objectives of the Social Responsibility Strategy unveiled a year ago by the FSGC, which clearly set out a long-term action plan to improve a wide range of social aspects, as well as sustainability issues, connected to football in San Marino. The partnership aims to strengthen the principles of inclusion both on and off the pitch: by bringing together two key organisations in the local area, it seeks to give all those involved the opportunity to enjoy wide-ranging experiences of personal growth. The collaboration envisages a variety of activities that will directly involve both the Under-22 players and coaching staff and the young people from Cooperativa InVolo. The latter will be engaged in match preparation and related initiatives. In turn, Matteo Cecchetti’s players will actively contribute to the cooperative’s projects, giving both groups the chance to experience each other’s unique characteristics first-hand. This synergy is something the San Marino Academy U22 proudly showcases every time it takes to the field – with a banner displayed in the designated areas of the stadiums – starting from the Academy’s very first match in the Campionato Sammarinese BKN301. It is a cross-cutting collaboration that also involves the FSGC, whose activities Cooperativa InVolo joined through a dedicated stand in the “Sosteniamoci” Fan Village organised by the Football Federation ahead of the match between San Marino and Denmark. On that occasion, a ceramics workshop was held, engaging some of the young people participating in the cooperative’s activities as well as the large crowd that attended the pre-match event.
