San Marino vs Cyprus: Valli Casadei replaces injured Fabbri

San Marino’s National Team will be back in action on Tuesday 11 June for their final official friendly before turning their full attention to the UEFA Nations League, which kicks off in September. Cevoli’s Biancazzurri will face Cyprus at the San Marino Stadium, with kick-off at 18:00. The match will be broadcast live on radio on TITANI.TV, with commentary in Italian. The recent neutral-venue fixture against Slovakia has forced Filippo Fabbri to withdraw: the 22-year-old Sammarinese defender suffered a shoulder injury that obliged him to leave the pitch midway through the first half. Unavailable for Tuesday’s game, he has been replaced in the squad list by San Marino Academy midfielder Matteo Valli Casadei, who featured for the Under-21s in the two recent matches against their counterparts from Gibraltar (3-0, 0-0). As with Amici, Gasperoni, Valentini and Zavoli, an appearance for him would mark an absolute debut for the senior National Team. These are the choices of Head Coach Roberto Cevoli, who will speak at a press conference tomorrow at 18:45. Shortly afterwards, at 19:30, the Titani’s official training session is scheduled – again at the San Marino Stadium.
