Simone Grana and Annamaria Ferri attend 8th UEFA Medical Symposium

Dr Simone Grana and Dr Annamaria Ferri are also taking part in the 8th UEFA Medical Symposium, which is currently under way in Frankfurt. The three-day event in Germany, titled "The importance of medicine in football", opened early yesterday afternoon with an introduction dedicated to the latest challenges facing football medicine, as well as a focus on the most effective methods and strategies for cooperation and communication between the medical team and the team’s head coach. The programme then continued by addressing other highly topical issues related to sports medicine and the specific role played by the doctor working alongside a football team, without of course neglecting all topics that are specific to the world of female athletes and, in particular, women’s footballers. The symposium will conclude with a workshop scheduled for early tomorrow afternoon.
