Champions League draw: La Fiorita to face Inter Club d'Escaldes

La Fiorita will take on Andorran champions Inter Club d'Escaldes in the semi-final of the Champions League Preliminary Round. The side that won the last Campionato Sammarinese went into today’s draw in Nyon as one of the seeded teams – based on the ranking – alongside Levadia Tallinn. The Estonians will meet Víkingur Reykjavík in the other semi-final. It is the Icelandic club that will act as hosts for the entire mini-tournament (semi-finals and final), from which the winner will progress to join the teams already in the First Qualifying Round of the Champions League, while the other three clubs will move into the UEFA Europa Conference League qualifiers. The semi-finals, including La Fiorita’s tie, will be played on 21 June, as mentioned, in Iceland. The final is scheduled for 24 June.
