U19 and U17 European Championship qualifying groups drawn in Nyon
The new qualifying groups for the 2026 European Championships in the Under-19 and Under-17 categories were drawn this morning in Nyon, at UEFA headquarters.
Starting with the U19 side, San Marino have been placed in Group 10 with Denmark, Sweden and Switzerland. The latter will also host the mini-tournament, which will be played in November 2025.
While the qualification format for the Under-19s remains unchanged for the 2025-26 season, things are different for the Under-17 national team (click here for more information). In fact, there will be two international campaigns for the young Biancoazzurri in 2025.
Round 1 of qualifying for Euro 2025 – played in the Republic last November – secured promotion to League B for San Marino. Now the Titani move on to Round 2, where they have been drawn with Belarus, Armenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina (the latter as hosts). The Round 2 fixtures will be played from 12 to 18 May 2025.
Also drawn, again for the Under-17s, is Round 1 of qualifying for Euro 2026. Here San Marino have been paired with Switzerland, Bulgaria and Slovakia (the host nation). These matches will be played in October 2025.
