UEFA CL&FS, Rondelli and Zoppis in Belgrade: exchange with Andorra underway

UEFA has once again this year organised the Annual Conference on the topic of Club Licensing & Financial Sustainability, dedicated to all affiliated European member associations. The event was hosted on 2–3 October by the Football Association of Serbia. In the evocative setting of Belgrade, Vice President Sandra Sremčević acted as host, welcoming representatives from the 55 associations, while various UEFA officials took the stage in turn, including Ales Zavrl (Head of Club Licensing) and Andrea Traverso (Financial Sustainability Director). Representing the FSGC were Licensing Manager Paolo Rondelli and Deputy Licensing Manager Andrea Zoppis. The two-day event in Belgrade proved an excellent opportunity to share experiences with colleagues from other European associations, learn about the amendments to the Regulations introduced by UEFA and gather useful information to pass on to San Marino clubs and to the domestic licensing system. On this occasion, representatives of the San Marino FA were also able to take part in the first official meeting of the UEFA Club Licensing Exchange Programme – a new initiative through which UEFA pairs two associations for a period of joint work, enabling them to exchange practical experiences and learn from one another the possible best practices that could potentially be implemented within their own football systems. San Marino was in fact selected among the few participants and will work over the coming months with the Andorran association.
