UEFA Regions' Cup 2025: official draw to be held at San Marino Stadium on 6 March
Following the confirmation that the final tournament of the 13th UEFA Regions' Cup has been awarded to the Republic of San Marino and its Football Association, the organisational machine has immediately swung into action. The first step is the official draw ceremony for the two groups into which the eight teams qualified for the San Marino 2025 finals will be split: Dolnośląski Region (POL), Länsi-Vantaan Ylpeys (FIN), Vojvodina (SRB), Vaud (SUI), Hradec Králové (CZE), San Marino (SMR), Aragon (ESP) and Rijeka (CRO) will battle it out for glory in the UEFA competition reserved for regional (or national, as in the case of San Marino) amateur representative teams.
The draw will be open, meaning there will be no seeding or restrictions. The only regulatory indication is that NAT San Marino will be placed in Group A in position 1. The draw will then proceed with the remaining seven teams, to be divided into two groups. The tournament format provides that, after the three single round-robin group matches, the group winners will qualify for the final, which will decide the winners of the trophy. All matches will be played at venues in San Marino, where the training camps of the participating teams will also be located, as well as the headquarters of the UEFA organisational structure, supported by FSGC staff and collaborators.
The draw ceremony for the final tournament of the UEFA Regions' Cup San Marino 2025 will take place on Thursday 6 March 2025 at San Marino Stadium (11:00 CET). The ambassador for the event is Massimo Bonini, an icon of San Marino football and a champion at Italian, European and Intercontinental level with Juventus in the 1980s.
Media outlets wishing to attend the draw ceremony and the subsequent mixed zone may submit an accreditation request via the dedicated section on the FSGC.sm website (click here).
