Final league match for the Under 21 futsal side, while the Under 12 Women fall at home to Ravenna
MEN’S SECTION
National activity
Only the Under 16s are involved in official national league fixtures this weekend for the San Marino Academy youth sector. Leoni’s boys will travel to the Bacchilega to lock horns with hosts Imolese, with kick-off scheduled for Sunday at 15:00.Regional and provincial activity
From Saturday to Tuesday the boys’ teams taking part in regional and provincial competitions will be in action. Going in ascending age order, the Esordienti will have two away games and one at home. At 15:30 on Saturday, the Provincial Esordienti (A) will host Verucchio in Montegiardino, while the Provincial Esordienti (B) will head to the Rimini area to face Sanges at Don Pippo, with the two matches kicking off at the same time. The Under 13 PRO face a much longer trip, playing on the artificial pitch at Chiarino Cimurri in Reggio Emilia on Sunday early afternoon. Their meeting with their Reggiana counterparts will start at 14:30. On Sunday Belluzzi’s Under 14s will be at home in Montecchio, where they will face SPAL at 11:00. They were also in action yesterday, taking on Cesena in Martorano, where the home side from Romagna ran out clear winners (8-0). Both upcoming fixtures for the Provincial Giovanissimi will be away from home. Piselli’s boys will take to the pitch in Miramare on Saturday afternoon (15:30) against Polisportiva Garden, while Baschetti’s 9-a-side Giovanissimi will travel to Cotignola to face the local side on Sunday morning (10:30). At the same time the Provincial Allievi will also be in action in Riccione. Omar Zanotti’s boys will face ASAR. Rounding off the schedule are the Regional Juniores, who will have to wait until Tuesday to meet S.S. Misano. The match will be played on the artificial pitch in Montecchio, with kick-off set for 16:00.WOMEN’S SECTION
The Women’s Primavera side returns to action, after postponements due to Italy Under 17’s European qualifying commitments, which also involved Titane players Berveglieri, Alice and Giulia Zaghini. Urbinati’s Biancazzurre will be on the pitch in Naples on Sunday at 10:00. The trip awaiting the Under 17s coached by Katia Cerea will be less demanding, at least from a logistical and organisational point of view: they will play on Sunday afternoon away to Imolese (14:30). Getting the women’s football weekend underway will be Piva’s Giovanissime, who will host SPAL in Faetano on Saturday, with kick-off at 17:00. The Esordienti have already played their second league match, having faced Ravenna last Thursday in Acquaviva. It was a bitter home debut for the Titane, beaten in two of the three periods by the visitors from Romagna, who were also sharper in the technical exercises, after a goalless draw in the middle third.FUTSAL SECTION
With the women’s team entered in Serie A2 still yet to get going, San Marino Academy’s futsal weekend will – as last week – be dedicated exclusively to the men’s Under 21 side. After their fine win over Casalgrandese, Matteo Selva’s boys will look for further confirmation in Faenza in the final round of the league season. The match is set for Granarolo Faentino at 10:30 on Sunday. The photos and graphic designs available on the FSGC information channels and social networks are freely usable, recognising the image rights to ©FSGC
