A tournament to conclude the project with first-year High School classes

The first year of the project launched between the Football Federation and the Upper Secondary School of San Marino, aimed at students enrolled in first-year classes, came to an end last Friday with a tournament organised at the Montecchio Stadium. Over the months, many activities were carried out together with the students, involving both physical exercise related to football during PE lessons and genuine open discussions with the students about the opportunities that the football environment can offer them – beyond the well-known career of becoming a professional footballer, the ultimate ambition of many young people. In this regard, meetings were organised with the refereeing department, team managers and coaches, as well as sports journalists and the press office, in order to cover a wide range of career prospects linked to the world of football. As an ideal conclusion to a highly positive experience for both parties, a tournament dedicated to first-year classes of the High Schools was held on 7 June.
