Under-21: Spain at the Stadium tomorrow. Cecchetti: “Courage and organisation”

It is already the eve of another match for the San Marino Under-21 National Team, who return to action at the Stadium tomorrow evening, just a few days on from the clash with Kosovo. In this European qualifying fixture, the Titani coached by Matteo Cecchetti will face Spain tomorrow at 20:15.

“We go again, building on the enthusiasm and awareness we gained from last Thursday’s match against Kosovo,” said the Titani coach. “We are working very well; between the two games the lads have fully recovered their energy and shaken off the fatigue. Tomorrow we will be up against a very strong opponent, but we must continue with this mindset and finish this run of fixtures in the best possible way.”

Tomorrow at the Stadium, the “La Roja” coached by David Gordo will arrive: a team packed with talent from top European clubs such as Barcelona, Real Madrid, Como and many others.

“We will need courage and organisation,” continued San Marino’s Under-21 head coach. “We will have to give absolutely everything, focus on ourselves and not too much on our opponents. We must not be afraid to face a team of Spain’s calibre; on the contrary, we should be glad to play matches like this. There will be a few changes compared to last Thursday. We will need players with different characteristics in certain areas of the pitch.”
