Qualification criteria
The champion of the San Marino futsal championship qualifies to participate in the UEFA Futsal Champions League the following season.
In the preliminary round of the competition, the participating teams are divided into several groups (generally composed of 3 or 4 teams), which play a mini-tournament at a single venue, with one-way matches. At the end of the matches in each group, only the top-placed team in each group gains access to the next round. The final position in the group is determined by the points obtained, followed by any play-off criteria such as points in head-to-head matches between the teams involved, goal difference in head-to-head matches.
