ASCO35 celebrates 25 years of activity

Last Saturday, 5 July, ASCO35 celebrated its first 25 years of activity. The Associazione Sammarinese Calciatori Over 35 was founded in 2000 and, year after year, has taken part in tournaments and matches with the same spirit of solidarity, inclusion and togetherness.

Also present at the celebratory dinner – which brought together more than 40 people, including members and friends – was the FSGC, represented by President Marco Tura and Secretary General Luigi Zafferani, as well as the President of San Marino For The Children, Marco Mazza.

In this regard, ASCO35 has been working for years with the San Marino charity to raise funds in support of the many humanitarian projects in Africa run by the association. This makes ASCO35 a fine example of how football can be an ideal tool for promoting values with a purely charitable and solidarity-based purpose.
