BKN301 Championship: opening weekend kicks off with triple early fixture live on TITANI.TV
The first details have been confirmed for the opening round of the 2023-24 San Marino BKN301 Championship, with venues and kick-off times for the inaugural matchday now set. The defending champions Tre Penne – in action this evening at the San Marino Stadium in the Super Cup clash against Virtus – will begin their title defence in Montecchio on Friday 15 September at 21:15.
Ceci’s men will face Juvenes-Dogana, while two other matches will be played at the same time. As part of the triple Friday night curtain-raiser, Pennarossa-Fiorentino and Cosmos-Domagnano will also take place. Last season’s runners-up, coached by Nicola Berardi, will make their bow on the Domagnano artificial pitch, while the Biancorossi and Rossoblù will battle for their first points of the season at the Acquaviva Stadium.
Three matches are scheduled for Saturday, featuring the first big match of the season. Tre Fiori and Virtus will meet at 15:00 in Acquaviva, while Murata and Faetano will kick off at the same time in Montecchio. Also at 15:00, Cailungo and Folgore will contest their first fixture of the campaign, in the only match to be played at the "Federico Crescentini" Stadium in Fiorentino.
Matchday 1 of the San Marino BKN301 Championship will conclude with two Sunday fixtures. There is great anticipation for the historic debut in domestic competition of the San Marino Academy U22, who will face San Giovanni on the artificial pitch in Montecchio. La Fiorita-Libertas, a match rich in technical quality, will instead be played in Domagnano, again with a 15:00 kick-off.
