Bronzetti and Nardoni at UEFA Grow in Warsaw

In recent days, the Sofitel Warsaw Victoria Hotel in Warsaw (Poland) hosted a new UEFA Grow event focused on finance and human resources management. FSGC also took part in the two-day meeting, represented by Treasurer Filippo Bronzetti and Administrative Coordinator Andrea Nardoni.

A range of topics were covered during the workshop – organised by UEFA in collaboration with the Polish Football Association – through dedicated presentations. In addition, participants had the opportunity to discuss these issues in specific round tables. Crucial subjects included digital transformation and AI, as well as taxation and benchmarking. Numerous speakers took the floor over the two days, such as Lucy Adams (former BBC HR Director), who shared her ideas on how today’s leaders must tackle everyday challenges, and Jeremy Cottino (European Football Clubs, formerly ECA), who spoke about risk management for major companies. Also noteworthy was the contribution of Fernando Gomes, former President of the Portuguese Football Federation for almost 15 years and subsequently UEFA Vice-President from 2017 to 2023. There were also many presentations and case studies delivered by various European associations – both large and small – relating to financial matters and human resources management.
