Another gathering during last March’s international window brought a new chapter of the FSGC’s Business Team initiative. On Tuesday 31 March, in the Prestige Room at the San Marino Outlet Experience – on the afternoon preceding the friendly between San Marino and Andorra – a new workshop was held entitled “The value of change: how to embrace it rather than endure it”. The topic was explored by three high-profile speakers, who shared their perspectives on the subject.

Opening the event was Linda Lelli, Mental Coach and Corporate Trainer, who delved into the theme of change from both an individual and organisational standpoint. Using an experiential and interactive approach, she guided participants in understanding the mechanisms behind resistance to change, outlining their neuroscientific foundations and providing practical tools to approach change in an informed and effective way.

She was followed by the co-authors of the book “Calcio, potere e politica”, Valerio Mancini (Professor and Director of the Research Centre for Sport, Diplomacy and Innovation – Roma City Institute) and Narcís Pallarès-Domènech (expert in football-related geopolitics, writer and university lecturer of Catalan origin), who broadened the perspective by analysing the impact of geopolitics on the world of football and sport.

Through concrete examples drawn from international contexts and from the realities of small states, the speakers showed how the ability to adapt to change is a key factor for success not only in sport, but also in society and business.

The workshop stood out for the high quality of its content and for the interaction with the audience, who took an active part in the discussion and gave extremely positive feedback at the end of the event.
