League: Domagnano and Folgore snatch draws at the death
The main stage among the late kick-offs on matchday 13 of the 2025-26 Campionato Sammarinese is Acquaviva Stadium, where La Fiorita and Domagnano face off to keep pace with the runaway leading duo. One early chance apiece: Affonso wastes a clear sight of goal in front of Papi, while Zavoli has to tidy up a weak back-pass that had sent Bonetti through – blocked for a corner. At the other end Olcese, stealing in at the near post, tests Papi’s reflexes, but the keeper smothers at the second attempt. The attacks misfire after the break as well, with Bonetti and Affonso both off target. The latter in particular shaves the top corner with a first-time right-footed volley on which Papi would have had no chance. The match is decided in the final quarter of an hour, when La Fiorita grab a stunning lead through a scissor kick from Barretta – the defender stealing a march at the far post on a corner that flashes right across the box and meeting it with an acrobatic finish. A goal worthy of an ovation, but not enough to sink Domagnano: Amati’s side show why they are chasing Tre Fiori and Virtus, pushing for an equaliser right up to the final whistle. The killer blow comes on 90+3’ via the Gjonaj-Contadini connection: the midfielder ghosts into the box, capitalising on a hesitant outing by Zavoli to glance on the cross and spark the Giallorossi’s celebrations. La Fiorita now trail the leaders by a double-figure margin, with only two rounds left in the first half of the season.
Folgore and Juvenes Dogana fly out of the blocks in the Serravalle derby, played at the “Federico Crescentini” in Fiorentino and decided in its clou moment right at the death. The first big chance falls to Daidola, who heads over from a great position after an elegant move involving Cateni and Miori. The first thrust from their cousins, though, results in the opener: a wonderful coast to coast run by Kevin Lisi, who releases the ball at the perfect moment, allowing Nicola Sartini to break the deadlock with a first-time left-foot finish. Two minutes later Folgore astonishingly fail to take a gilt-edged chance to make it 1-1, from a set piece delivered by Sartori: Daidola can’t sort his feet out from close range and, behind him, Augusto Garcia Rufer connects only to be somehow denied by the combined heroics of Colonna and Bakalyar. Early in the second half another burst from Kevin Lisi wreaks havoc in Lasagni’s backline, who almost concede again on Toure’s deflection. Around the hour mark Daidola has three opportunities in the opposite box, squandering the clearest on 64 minutes in a one-on-one with Colonna. Things go no better for Augusto Garcia Rufer, first thwarted by Colonna and then brought down in the area shortly afterwards: the referee waves away the penalty appeals. Juvenes Dogana’s goal seems bewitched and comes within a whisker of falling on 81 minutes to an irresistible solo run by Augusto Garcia Rufer – he skips past opponents and the goalkeeper, only to be denied by an in extremis intervention from the outstanding Kevin Lisi. Boldrini’s men are hit with a cold shower on 90+4 minutes, when Colonna comes out to claim a ball played to the edge of the area by Fall: Augusto Garcia Rufer gets there first with a header, taking the keeper out of the equation and earning an incredible derby equaliser.
Tre Penne win away in Domagnano against Cailungo. After a flurry of chances, many involving Turchetta – denied twice by Gallinetta and narrowly missing the target from a corner routine – Bonini’s side deservedly take the lead. Once again, Turchetta and Gallinetta are centre stage, with the goalkeeper desperately unlucky: a deflected right-footed effort crashes off the post, hits Gallinetta and ricochets into the net for an inadvertent own goal. Cailungo are much more convincing after the restart: Conti and De Luca are among the liveliest, but Tre Penne’s backline always manage to plug the gaps. And with their first meaningful counter-attack they kill off the contest: Berardi wins a debated penalty for a coming together with Iuzzolino, deemed foul-worthy by the referee. From the spot the San Marino forward goes across the keeper, giving Gallinetta no chance. Late efforts from Turchetta at one end and Gimenez at the other fail to alter the scoreline, with Tre Penne running out 2-0 winners.
In the first half in Montecchio, almost all the main chances fall to Pennarossa – driven forward by Dulcetti and Pintore. The winger tests Semprini and, with his cultured left foot, poses constant problems for the Cosmos defence. The Gialloverdi’s goal remains untouched until the interval, but two minutes before half-time Selva’s men surprisingly break the deadlock. Gjurchinoski swings a wide free-kick into the area, where Islamaj is left criminally unmarked and, connecting between chest and shoulder, wrong-foots Tordella. Ricchiuti’s men don’t deserve to be behind and restore parity just past the hour mark: yet another burst from Dulcetti produces a low cross that Azzurro attacks, turning it in from close range for 1-1. The same midfielder appeals for a penalty after a later clash with Monceri, but the referee deems it legal. Before the final whistle, Gjurchinoski looks for the spectacular from mid-range, but fails to hit the target of Tordella’s goal.
